This unusual antique ring has beautiful chased shoulders.   The shoulders frame a halo of approx 2mm round seed pearls which surround a cushion-cut Pink Topaz.  The ring being over 250 years old has weathered lots of wear.
The Pink Topaz is abraided on the top facets.  It is secured by a multi-claw crown-like setting.
 
There is a remnant of engraving seen inside the shank script "I H", no other markings are present.  The ring was acid-tested to 18K gold.
